Thank you for visiting our Border Collie Rescue Site.
The Border Collies we list here are provided to assist other folks in
finding good homes for stray/lost border collies. Too often, these
dogs have been abandoned by their previous owners, but sometimes, they
wander too far from home and get lost. It is our hope that you will wish to assist us in caring for these animals. Your assistance is needed to reduce the births of unwanted animals, contribute to the care and management of those animals which have been put in shelters and rescue homes, and perhaps find or provide a good home for a deserving friend. Also, if you recognize a Border Collie listed here, please let us know so we can get in touch with the rightful owner. We would also like to point out, that while we do list links to other Border Collie Rescue organizations, we do not provide endorsement for these agencies. We have found over the years, that many of these agencies have forgotten that their real purpose is to provide a good home for the rescued animals. We suggest, that if you are interested in adopting a Border Collie, that you look around. Make sure the animal you are interested in is compatible with your life style, and that the organization is truly interested in working with you. Of course, every organization is going to want to make sure you are truly interested and capable of providing the animal a good home. We don't want the animal to become "lost" again.
